Brighton-based printmaker Sharifa Brooks Read created these uniquely wonderful Teatime Prints as part of a series of heads featuring fantasy hats.. Here we have Full English, Teatime and Petit Dejeuner. Oooh..coffee, anyone?

Below are even more delights from her fab portfolio of screenprints and relief prints, available to purchase directly from her website. Rather gorgeous, are they not?

Some rather nice sneaker craftsmanship today, courtesy of graphic artist Kwills. His imagery is very much rooted in hiphop, skateboarding, fashion, cartoons & comics, and we’re liking what he’s doing! Oh yes-sireee…

Well hello Monday…you have come around quickly! To cheer ourselves up we want to share the work of James Nelson (aka Yo Hello) today as we’re loving his typographic, multi-layered prints. As a student James had his work featured in both Creative Review’s graduate showcase and D&AD’s student awards, and has since been featured in leading publications such as CR, Computer Arts Projects, Eight:48 and Design Week. His prints are available via the brilliant Print-Process (more from them later)…and definitely worth a visit this rather chilly Monday! Go on…treat yourself.

Good friend and talented designer Ros Shiers is someone we’ll be talking about a lot more in the not-too-distant-future, as her portfolio is stunning and deserves some full-on Morning Edit appreciation. But we wanted to just share a couple here today as..well…we just couldn’t wait! Ros’ beautifully detailed illustrations and text pieces are the epitome of feminine sophistication. Her work covers stunning limited edition prints, cards and textiles..and make the perfect gift! (we are thinking for ourselves here, naturally!). Watch this space for when we bring you more….

We came across this print by Rebecca King at the Multiplied Art Fair held at Christies recently – courtesy of Printroom London gallery – and it blew us away. Seeing it in the flesh is something else – this thumbnail above just doesn’t do it justice.. The colour, scale and detail is epic, and much of her work is created using digital lasercut techniques. Her body of work focuses on people in our ever-evolving cities and particularly concentrates on the rapid urban transformation and the emotional impact of such recent developments on city dwellers. We recommend you check her out! Visit her website here.

Illustrator Zara Wood (aka Woody) has created this rather special limited edition gold print, titled ‘The Dutchess’ – and we think it’s rather lovely! This time-travelling socialite certainly won’t go unnoticed on any wall, and is sure to deservedly dazzle! Thank you m’am!

We will definitely be talking about Cassia Beck again in the near future as her photography is wonderful and far too extensive to sum up here in our short Eye Candy post.. But we just wanted to whet your appetite for what’s to come with these gorgeous shots above. Cassia has a diverse portfolio of beautiful shots which are largely vintage in both technique and subject matter, and her style makes us feel nostalgic, feminine and ‘homely’ all at the same time. Damn good stuff.

Bonjour! Today we have this rather delightful print by Forever500francs available on Etsy. We love the bright colours and the ‘today’s the day’ feeling it leaves us with. We want this above our beds to wake up to every morning!

Some lovely Eye Candy from London-based illustrator Daniel Frost who created this adorable Kites piece above… makes us feel all dreamy!….

We’ve previously been big fans of Kate Kesslings’ button prints (see them HERE) and now we’ve fallen in love with her ‘figures’ prints, especially this ‘Pelican Crossing’ one. We love the humor in Kate’s work and this piece takes us right back to our childhoods.
