Being a dab-hand with a needle and thread isn’t exactly Morning Edit’s strong point. And contrary to what you might expect, neither are we ballerinas. So we have been absolutely bowled over by the beautiful craftsmanship of Chilean artist Jose Romussi. We adore the contrast between the soft, vintage black and white photography and the brightly coloured stitch work. The intricate thread work adds movement and drama, bringing these bygone beauties to life. We’re also digging Jose’s more contemporary pieces involving typography, rainbows and the London Underground map. All of Jose’s work is absolutely stunning and we urge you to join us in some Romussi-worship!
