We’ve some lovely new prints from our talented friend Ros Shiers today.. Say hello to Albert, Baxter, Bert, Ferris and Leonard. Aren’t they adorable? And perfect for any pooch-lover.. Our favourite has to be Leonard, though we feel bad for having favourites! Especially when they’re all looking at us with those puppy dog eyes!! Ok (sigh) we love you all….

Some lurrrverly prints courtesy of Sjoerd Piepenbrink, aka. Yetiland. We don’t know too much about this talented fella other than knowing he lives in Heiloo, a small coastal village near Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and likes cheese and petting his imaginary cats. But we DO know that his illustrations are bloody lovely. Nuff said.

How utterly charming is the work of Texas-based illustrator Eric Comstock?! Friday’s are good anyway, but this is making ours even brighter! Eric’s clients include the likes of Land of Nod, Hallmark, Shutterfly, TeNeues, Moda Fabrics, Oopsy Daisy, Graniph and many others, and we can see why he’s a popular chappie.. Check out more here folks. Enjoy…

We shared our love of Lucie Sheridan‘s work on a previous post here, but we’re loving these new homeware pieces, and figured you probably would too!! Aren’t they fab? Perfect Christmas gift ideas, we thinks!

Some delicious eye candy for you today folks, courtesy of the award winning artist Isabel Rock. We were fortunate to see (in person, no less!) Isabel being awarded the 2013 Fellowship from The Arts Foundation UK and she is such a worthy winner. She has exhibited for the 5th time at the India Art Fair in Delhi, participating in a Residency in Senegal and now working in Berlin. Her fantastical work is both beautiful and grotesque, offering a carnivalesque backdrop to her imagery. Many of her pieces centre around the subjects of greed and lust.. and we’re definitely lusting after these pieces here at Morning Edit HQ. We hope you’re just as enraptured as we are?!

Walking along my local high street the other day this image in the window of a gallery stopped me in my tracks. Commissioned for a magazine article about the Tour de France, illustrator Bill Butcher produced this rather lovely piece of artwork which is now being sold as a limited edition by the Atelier Gallery in Leigh on Sea. Already framed and mounted, we thought £240 was very reasonable for an edition of 40 and one is now gracing the wall above our fireplace. You can see more of Bills editorial work on his website and see the Atelier Gallery for details of how to purchase.

We are loving the layered detail which Australian textile designer Lara Cameron has applied to these prints. Lara co-runs Ink & Spindle; a boutique textile studio located in Kensington, Melbourne, where these prints are sold alongside a delightful selection of screenprinted textiles. If only we could pop there and have a browse (*sigh*). But never mind, these limited edition prints can be ordered online instead. Hurrah!

Brighton-based printmaker Sharifa Brooks Read created these uniquely wonderful Teatime Prints as part of a series of heads featuring fantasy hats.. Here we have Full English, Teatime and Petit Dejeuner. Oooh..coffee, anyone?

Below are even more delights from her fab portfolio of screenprints and relief prints, available to purchase directly from her website. Rather gorgeous, are they not?

Some rather nice sneaker craftsmanship today, courtesy of graphic artist Kwills. His imagery is very much rooted in hiphop, skateboarding, fashion, cartoons & comics, and we’re liking what he’s doing! Oh yes-sireee…

Well hello Monday…you have come around quickly! To cheer ourselves up we want to share the work of James Nelson (aka Yo Hello) today as we’re loving his typographic, multi-layered prints. As a student James had his work featured in both Creative Review’s graduate showcase and D&AD’s student awards, and has since been featured in leading publications such as CR, Computer Arts Projects, Eight:48 and Design Week. His prints are available via the brilliant Print-Process (more from them later)…and definitely worth a visit this rather chilly Monday! Go on…treat yourself.
